The half-hourly local rail service to the centre of Edinburgh takes about fifteen minutes.

Our en-suite family room has a comfy double bed and bunk beds suitable for children or adults.

There are views across St James' Harbour towards the River Forth and the hills of Fife. There is space for a further folding bed or travel cot for additional children if required.

2. Double room

This sunny spacious double room has views south across the River Forth. Private bathroom adjacent with large shower and WC. Plenty of space for an additional folding bed and travel cot for children if required.

Breakfast is taken in the sunny south facing dining room where you will find a wide selection of tempting goodies to start your day. A full cooked breakfast, "the works" or something lighter?

A continental breakfast with Croissants? Choose from yoghurts, fresh fruits, home-made marmalade and jams, delicious fresh coffee, juices and different teas. Vegetarian options a-plenty.

Local Travel

The village station is under 10 minutes walk from our door and as we are on the main East coast line, you have easy access to any part of the country. A fast bus link every 10 minutes or so from the Ferrytoll Park and Ride, one mile from our door also gets you into Edinburgh in 15-20 minutes.

Ferrytoll Park & Ride

This major bus station lies only two miles outside the village and has bus services to London, the midlands, Newcastle and the north-east, Edinburgh, Fife, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness, in addition to  regular local services.
