The Fife Coastal Path begins in North Queensferry and is a classic route for walkers of all ages. The Fife coast is a rich natural habitat for birds, sea life and wild flowers.

The Carlingnose Nature Reserve is one of the first points of call and is less than 10 minutes walk from Battery House. For an introduction to the delights of the coastal path, take a look at our picture galleries below. The wildflower gallery provides images of the natural flora of this area. Our landscape gallery includes views of Fife coastal towns and scenic points of interest. Botanists and herbalists may also wish to view our Galleries of Medicinal Plants of Scotland, and our Gallery of Native Fungi. Details of field trips can be found at www. Please note that images are copyright, an extensive range of high quality images can be purchased at full resolution from our shop on CD.
