This gallery provides a few glimpses of the Fife Coastal path. Everyone who walks this trail is impressed by the range and variation in the habitats and locations. Sandy shores are interspersed with rocky beaches. Impressive cliffs alternate with grassy links and dunes.

Many coastal villages have scenic harbours nestling in natural bays. Ancient churches, castles and ruins are to be found dotted along the length of the coastal path.

Flowers, wild plants and animal life abound. Most walkers will encounter seals, either basking on rocky promontories, or swimming just offshore with a curious eye.

Diving birds and waders can be seen in large numbers and seasonal visitors to the Isle of May will enthralled by the thousands of puffins that nest there annually.
